Agreed, it's definitely not locked at 450. When I received my truck last week from the Dealer, the miles to empty was 511.

I picked up my new 2011 Silver SCEW a few weeks ago and it read 540 miles till empty. I towed my boat a few hundred miles and I filled up yesterday. It read 380 mte as my current average miles per gallon is about 11 due to the towing. If I baby it on the highway at 70 (without the boat) I'm showing on the instant mileage about 17mpg. I'm not thrilled with the mileage, but its not terrible considering the displacement, horsepower and the size of the vehicle. So far I love the truck!
