The fact that you think going from a 600lb 2V boat anchor in Gen 1 to a 200lb lighter engine with significantly more power, torque, a better power curve, and better fuel economy
@tmp123 This is a bit of a trolling statement. True Yes but boat anchor part (he is trolling you) BUT!!!!! unlike you he can get away with it. WHY? because the most of us Know his comments and value. HE knows the 6.2 was Never offered as a boat anchor on any vessel. He Is a wealth of knowledge. Sometimes he makes trolley statements he's allowed In most of the members eyes. Because of his value. The GUY knows so much about theses trucks.

Wrong. The engine was designed for Ford GT and Raptor. That’s a fact, not an opinion. The Raptor is a low volume specialty vehicle and has essentially no impact on the fleet fuel economy average. There is no “EPA carbon footprint reduction requirements”, you made that up. Just because you believe something in your little mind does not make it true.

True. The fact that it out performs the old G1 in every measurable way makes it better. If you’re in denial of that, you’re truly a lost cause.

You really show your ignorance and lack of intellect when you call something “crap” that you don’t even have the most basic knowledge or understanding of. You have no “empirical evidence” of anything, you’re a Sasquatch. And you’re clearly intimidated by the newer trucks that wipe the floor with your clapped out 200k mile G1. Insecure much? The answer is obvious.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any dumber, you end it with Scotty Kilmer? :happy175: :happy175: :happy175: :happy175:

You seem to attack anyone that has a different opinion. I looked at your previous posts and I think you have some communication and personal issues you express via foul language and personal attacks. Very sad. There are pills that can help. Seek your nearest medical professional

You don’t understand the difference between an “opinion” and facts. You’ve posted numerous false claims and then you try and excuse them as an opinion, you’re an ignorant troll. You’re intimidated by the newer trucks that you don’t understand so you run your mouth and talk trash. It’s pathetic. If you troll with baseless and stupid comments, as you continue to do, expect to get called out for it and put in your place.

You keep repeating this “pills” nonsense to everyone, I think it’s pretty obvious who in here needs mental help, the guy making false statements to prop up his ego and bashing things he doesn’t understand.

Your entire story makes no sense. You ask for engine rebuild opinions after already removing the engine and ordering a Livernois block. In one post you claim your engine has 186k miles on it, in another you claim 196k. You think new trucks are too expensive, but you’re going to drop $40k into a 12 year old one with 200k miles on it. You claim you’re trying to “get out of wrenching”, but then you take your engine apart. Now a crate engine just popped up in your garage? You’re all over the place, and you clearly have an inferiority complex and some intellectual disabilities.

Says the guy who fabricates lies in every post to disparage the newer trucks that he states he can’t afford. The guy who claims to have “empirical evidence” about EcoBoost trucks but doesn’t even know what the term means. The guy who claims Gen 2 and 3 trucks don’t have full frames and are weaker than Gen 1. The guy who made up a story about EPA requirements dictating the use of the high output twin turbo engine as a way to support his conspiracy theories.

You’re a lost cause who is overflowing with verbal diarrhea. You’ve proven you know nothing about these trucks or anything automotive in general.

Have fun wasting $20k+ on an 12 year old bus engine only to get walked by Gen 2 and 3 trucks with nothing more than a tune.

Please let me know how you really feel)) Did your timing chain blow up yet. Go to your local Ford dealer and talk to the rank and file mechanics and parts guys. They will tell you the V6 Raptor engine pops the timing chain after the limited drive train warranty expires. Or if your ego can handle the stress , Google " Raptor V6 timing chain problems" please share your findings with us. In 2 minutes I found about a hundred threads

There are thousands of complaints all over including this forum .
