This may sound crazy -- but can I disable XM/FM/AM? I pretty much only use Airplay/Bluetooth for audio and it keeps kicking back on with super loud radio I don't want to hear as default.

I see a bunch of stuff in ACM: 727-01-01 but not sure if that's what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

There doesn't appear to be a way to disable AM/FM but you can remove Sirius with the following:
APIM 7D0-01-01 **** xxxx xxxx Removes Sirius from audio sources (decrement your value where the asterisk is by 2; if you have an "A" make it "8", if you have "2" make it "0")

Are you able to change the ambient lighting when you open the door? For example when I open the doors before starting it is blue even though my setting is for orange. Once I start the truck it turns orange. Thanks a lot!
Try doing both of the following:

This should make the ajar color orange:
BCM 726-31-01 x1xx xxxx xxxx

Orange Ambient Lighting Entry Color (when you enter/exit vehicle - independent of color selected on APIM screen)
726-31-02 xxxx x1xx xxxx

Ok I've followed the forscan changes long enough now that I feel I have to make some on my truck. Problem is I've been reading trying to understand exactly what I need that's compatible with each other. I've tried reading the various links and have just gotten more confused. My problem is I can navigate ok with a computer but don't really know much of anything about hardware or it's compatibility.

Can someone please help direct me to what components I need to make this reccomended tablet be able to use Forscan on my truck.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYZEPGP/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

Will this work with the tablet I listed? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MUALTSX/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

If so do i need anything else besides the forscan software and the license?

If I shouldn't be cluttering this thread asking about this please PM me details.

Thanks in advance for any help provided with this.

I tried finding someone in my area that I could just buy some beers or give them some cash to come do my truck, but I couldn't find anyone. Plus I think once I figure things out I can offer to do changes for my customers vehicles. Which I'm sure several would appreciate.

That adapter will work with that tablet so if you get both of those & install FORScan you should be in business. If you want to save $10, this USB adapter would also work with that tablet but would require installing a USB driver for the adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N18TOFB/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

So I could do it with the tablet I linked and the USB driver you linked? With of course the forscan software and license.

If so I'm ordering today!

Yes, the USB adapter I linked would work with that tablet but would be an additional step to set it up with the tablet (installing the usb driver software) than the Bluetooth adapter you linked would be. If you feel comfortable doing this it's worth the $10 savings, if not go with the Bluetooth adapter you linked.

I just looked at instructions on how to install the driver. i think I'm good with that. Thanks for your help!!

Heading off to order now!

Is there a way to keep the camera enabled after having shifted to R and then to D? I'd love it if it would stay on until reaching the maximum speed threshold instead of instantly turning off when shifting to D. Makes it easier when maneuvering for a tight parking spot and not having to reach for the button again and again.

I looked through the settings in the APIM module, but I didn't see anything which seemed to match.

I believe if you go to settings on the touch screen and then vehicle you can set the back up camera for delay.
