I don't understand why folks feel the need to talk trash (past good natured ribbing) on either Gen.

A stock G2 is an upgrade over a stock G1. There's no debating that point.

However, stock for stock is simply a snapshot in time. No die hard enthusiast is going to leave their ride stock. At that point your racing wallets.

Amen! I love my truck and if i could afford/justify buying a new one, Im sure I'd love it too. After all, No other production truck comes close to either model! I really think separating out the Gen 1 and Gen 2's did nothing but cause this needles back & forth SHIT.
