Alright, this is my first Ford since 2002....I didn't get a SIM ID or 4 digit pin from the dealer and can't find the card.....few questions on the app, etc

1: Will Ford have the info?
2: Is FordPass free?
3: If not, is it worth it?

Download FordPass on your phone enter your Vin Number and assign your 4 digit pin. It will be activated by depressing button on your screen . For security reasons it takes 24 hours to complete the setup, I may have missed a few details but that is it in general.

Supposed to be free for 5 years.

You assign your own pin, they don't give you one.

Most of it is BS, but the locator, lock and unlock and remote start is pretty cool.

Turns out I had the wrong app....Had the Ford Remote access locator....got the right one now and set up....thanks again....

Bumping this thread with the news that FordPass is now complimentary for the lifetime of the vehicle (with those equipped with the built-in modem).
