X liner in rear wheel wells

Used the 3m undercoating on mine. Spent about an hour taping and masking and 20 bucks at autozone. Great bang for the buck.

Knocked it out about 1 1/2 years ago and still looks like it should have came from the factory

Can anyone tell me if they remove the fender flares when they spray the wheel wells? I am going to do this myself hopefully tomorrow. I'm assuming they should stay in place so they continue to fit tight to the wheel well.

Also, I plan to use a wire brush to rough it up in lieu of sand paper. Good idea or not??

I didn't remove the flares on mine, just taped off carefully. As far as sand paper or not, I'd go by whatever the manufacturer of the product you're using says.
