Where did you even find a shop that would tint the windshield? It is illegal in every state and every shop I have ever asked about it, just won't do it.

He was a referral from one of my customers. He worked for a big tint company for 5 or 6 years and then went on his own a couple yrs ago.

Here is a view with the doors and sunroof cover shut and one with 1/2 in the truck and 1/2 out. Not as drastic of difference as it may look when looking from the outside in.

For clarification did you put 25% over the factory tint?

Tint

25 all the way around. I also had them remove the two back decals. I know it's like throwing away a $1,000 the day after I bought it but I think it looks WAY better!

I've put UV tint (almost clear) on my windshields. Great for the heat and light especially in the summer and in the desert.

Here in Kalifornia tint on the windshield guarantees you a quick pullover by the CHP or other LEO.

That's a little far for me to drive for tint....

Any tint shop can do the windshield no big deal. Illegal....YES> But again with prescription no problems.

Looks good, I LOVE a tinted windshield. I doubt i'll ever do it again, but I sure do miss it

I had an escalade with double 5 on all the windows, plus 20% on the windshield. Somehow I never had a single tint ticket
