What Is This Hose?

I apologize if this is obvious, but this hose looks out of place. I was checking under my truck (delivered 2 weeks ago) and saw this loose hose near the front of the driver's side rear wheel well. It has a plastic clip, so looks like it should clip somewhere. It's coming out of that C-channel running under the bed. Anyone have any idea where it should go or what it is for? I checked under another Gen 3 at my dealership this morning (dropping off my Explorer) and didn't see this anywhere. Thanks for any help!

Post 239, (page 24) I've had two 22's and both were loose when new. Like he said above, it clips up there and the cap is in front of the wheel well liner.
