TMX Raptoberfest by TRR Oct 25-27 2013

Texas Raptor Runs is back with a new 20 mile desert loop in Gause TX, close to every major city in Texas!

The event starts Friday at noon with registration. The track will be open Friday, all day Saturday and a half day Sunday.

Where: MGI Motorsports Farm outside of Gause TX. GPS Coordinates to follow.


Cost: $250 for the weekend plus $50 per person at the gate, paid directly to the Orchard: Africa Charity.

​What's Included: ​Driver and Co-Driver T Shirt, 2 Tickets to BBQ dinner, Driver Bag. Additional shirts will be available for purchase.

A few important things.

1. The event is capped at 50 trucks. You must pay the entry fee of $250 to reserve your spot, once I hit 50 paid entrants, the people who haven't paid will lose their spot. If you had issues paying when registering, PM or email me.

2. The $50 per person gate fee is being paid directly to the charity Orchard: Africa at the gate and is 100% tax deductible.

3. If you need to back out, you have until Oct. 1 to do so to get a refund, less $25. After Oct. 1, there are no refunds.

4. Hotels are available in Cameron TX and Hearne TX, HOWEVER, there is an Aggie home football game that weekend, so the rooms will fill up fast. I was unable to get a block of rooms due to this.

5. Dinner Saturday night is not included.

6. This post will be revised, and more information will follow, much like the TRR thread.


Raffle: Raffle tickets will be for sale $5 each, all proceeds going to Orchard:Africa. Stay tuned for a list of great prizes!

Every truck will be inspected for the following. You will not be allowed onto the track without it.
Required Gear:
1. DOT Approved Helmet.
2. First aid kit.
3. Fire extinguisher.
4. Tow strap
5. Minimum of 1 qt of the following.
Engine Oil
ATF for powersteering
6. Method to secure everything in your bed


Suggested supplies.
2nd Spare Tire or Tire Plug Kit
VHF Radio that is business band capable.
Food and beverages for the weekend. There will be dinner available Saturday night, but as of now, no food vendor.

Im a major sponsor for Texas Mile, so its a no go for me. In fact, I have to even cut my time at THAT event short because I get to have a private screening with the full cast of the Walking Dead on that Sunday. (Im a big fan of that show) Im not that busy of a guy, so Im shocked Trey always finds the 3 or 4 weekends a year Im unavailable. LOL. Lots of pics, and Im hoping you move events just a smidge every year so that dont always fall on the same weekends.
