All that seems like some kooky shit. I know a little about the allocation process, but the dealers are ******* wizards and will pull some BS under your nose without you ever knowing unless you have your process in writing and it's clear as day. Like MatMan said. Wait for the ordering process to be open, find a dealer you like and who's willing to work with you and place your order with them, pay the down payment and sit back and wait for your new truck to arrive. No switches, no regional allocation or dealer allocation BS. Just pay for what you want and be happy when it arrives.
