I've got a used OEM Gen3 tailgate applique in the factory box ill be posting later once I get home and take pictures. Nothings wrong with it. Unless somebody wants to throw an offer now.

Has anyone entertained the idea of separating the outer and inner panels for the OEM appliqué? I see alot of people removing the clips and plastic pins and then cutting off the plastic stamping. It appears that the outer shell which has FORD stamped into it is the same concept (slightly different design) as the Amazon/Ebay version which I recently grabbed for my 2022. I'm wondering if separating the outer shell on the OEM appliqué to duplicate the same design as the Amazon/Ebay version would save time and weight? Anyone tried to take the OEM panel apart?

Heard that. I love the look with and without the appliqué. I'm just not thrilled about the expensive of a new tailgate shell, paint, and an appliqué to make it what it should be.
