SYNC Update

Hey guys, I have a 2010 with the voice activated NAV. The sync hasn't been updated in years. I keep trying to download and update the sync system from the information on the site but it won't upload into my sync system. I called them and they said there is an issue with the update. The Ford dealer wants $150 for the update. Is it worth it?

I, too, recently tried to upload the update into my '12. From what I've read, the update I am trying to install doesn't give me much increase in functionality, etc. For all the complaints people seem to have about the Sync 2, I love mine. Never had an issue. I wouldn't pay $150.

Save the 150 and upgrade to the sync 3, then you can do updates via wifi.
