Salinas Tire BFG blowout!!

Picked up four BFG KO2 (C rated S speed) today at, Salinas Tire in La Habra So Cal, this morning , they are blowing them out........ 259$ each.......

The date code is when they were manufactured. I would bet they are old rubber. Probably at least 20s, if not 19s. I don’t buy any tires that are older than 6 months.

So I sell tires, the S speed rating is OE for jeep vehicles, the T speed is for Ford Raptor and Bronco.
My cost is literally $105 more for the T speed, which is absolutely stupid.
This tells me which owners are going OEM on tires and which are not!

My warehouse is over stocked on the S speed and only has a few of the T speed.

my new BFG from Salinas Tire La Habra are DOT 4522, S speed , which is what my truck shipped with.......

my 2019 shipped with S which I traded out at 25000 miles and got T speeds and now at 52000 miles the T speeds are mismatched due to desert eats tires so I picked these S speeds up on super sale. I will take the current set out to mohave preserve while its still cool out there and then switch to the new ones in summertime, probably just in time for another interstate cruise to Maine....
