I have cylinder 4 scarred from a ring issue. No compression on cylinder 4, leaking through crank case.
I do have a whipple stage 2, running the smaller pulley that comes with the kit.

Looks like I have 3 options on a short block replacement. Livernois or MMR
Livernois is $6K for their standard short block
Livernois is $8500 for 6.6L Short Block
MMR has 6.2L stage 2 short block for $5500

Regardless of which short block I go with, what other parts need to be replaced? Any work to be done on the heads? Cam? Oil Pump?
I'd like to put together a list of everything to order.

My current motor has around 85K on it. No issues until the miss came about on cylinder 4. Truck is not being driven or ran since problem came up.

Thank you.

I’d recommend pulling the heads and having a machine shop go over them. Detonation can damage the combustion chamber as well. If you’re going to keep the supercharger on it, you’ll want to get an upgraded oil pump and replace the timing drive with OEM components while you’re there.
