Raptor weight.

The frame is similar not the same, the Raptor frame is 1 inch wider probably to accommodate the motor and suspension, but I have measured this myself so know its accurate... Overall the frame is beefier more gussets and support than a F150...

The frame is not any wider to accommodate the motor as you can get the 6.2L in the Platinum?

I looked up an FX4 with a 5.5' box and the listed curb weight is 5586.

Same site lists a SCrew Raptor at 6210.

The lowest curb weight I could find was 4655 for an XL single cab, 6 cyl with a 6.5' box.

The added weight if the engine, shocks and wheels could account for that 600 pounds.

I know RPG has a non raptor frame under Jarretts truck.

Car and Driver tested a 2013 Platinum s/Crew 4x4 with the Ecoboost and the curb weight was 6029 lbs.
