Warrior, what do you mean the 11 has the lock. Like the normal key lock or something extra? like in this thread? My screw is waiting shipment, and curious about this so i can be prepared.

A manual tailgate lock is standard on 2011s...for some reason I thought it was on 2010s too though. It uses the same key as the rest of the locks in the truck.

They all have a manual lock. I want a power lock on mine. I keep my railroad bag and most of my gear in the back now that i have a Backflip f1. I would be nice not to have to manually lock/unlock it every time.

I've been looking at the mcgard lock and it appears to be a hose clamp with a key socket. What am I missing?

Wish Ford would have made the tailgate lock work with the key fob! Remembering, to lock the tailgate does not always work for me. :birgits_tiredcoffee

You know you've got a nice truck when people want to jack your tailgate.

Hope they don't figure out how easy it is to remove a windshield wiper :)
