help me decide my next tire size
Wheel is decided- 18x9 Fuel trophy in graphite, +1mm offset
I just cannot make a decision on what tire size I want to run with my mid perch!
My truck is unfortunately 99% street queen. I haven't jumped it yet and living in south florida, theres not a whole lot of areas to push its limits.
that being said, I'm OK with beating the pinch welds and trimming the stock fender as needed with the 37, IF its possible. Theres a guy running mid perch 37" with some trimming of the fender flare and fender on 0mm methods, but his tires are 37x12.5. I do NOT want aftermarket fenders at all.
so, here we go:
1) 37x13.5r18- Pictured here is a +0 offset, 17" toyo, which are 14.6" wide. This would be closest appearance to the cooper and toyo 18" which are both 14.2" wide. How did this guy make this work? idk but id love to find out. If it can be done, id prefer this route
2) 315x70r18- I like the 35.7" size, hate the puny 13" width. looks pretty nice with the +1mm offset pictured though
3) 325x64r18- 13.5" wide and beefy, but only 34.7" tall. May look a little off with +1 offset, pictured here is +25. To me, this size tire would be perfect with a lower offset wheel (+20 or so) and LOW perch. looks great but I would probably want to go back to low with this one..
so what do you guys think?
