I thought I did, but when I switched from cheap gas to Chevron, now I'm getting the same. Go figure.

I should have included I use gas from the better companies here. Generally Irving as the gas prices here are regulated so it's all the same price whether it's good or poor quality.

Irving owns the refinery and storage here so I'm suspecting the other brands are buying it from them anyway. I'm going to swap companies for a month or so and see what happens.

do you have e-15? That is rated for the truck, it's better than e-10. Id go with no ethanol rather than having to use e-10.

Towed from South Jersey to the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle PA, drove around alittle bit, and then towed back home. It was alittle over 330 miles and she avg 11.2 mpg.

She took 3rd in the truck class and won a Celebrity choice award.

I have a 200 mile drive to KC that I am on right now. Got cruise set on 60 since I am in no hurry. It sucks driving at this unbearable speed and getting passed by everything but getting close to 20 mpg. Impressed to say the least
Using E10 87

Wow, I can't break 18 under similar conditions. That sounds great!

Just made a long haul. 1600++ miles towing a 14' enclosed cargo trailer. This was mostly at 70-75mph across Idaho and Montana. Averaged 12.3 which is about 4mpg under my normal average.

Ended my route at WSI and mpg was 19.4. It is really hard to drive 60 though. I just wanted to see what it could do, not sure how often I will do this again....

I've towed an 18' travel trailer from Idaho to Montana across lookout pass and averaged 10 mpg, so your 12.3 is pretty good.
