I usually average 12k to 13k miles a year. The 13 tux is close to me and they offered 43 for my trade sight unseen. Plus is it certified pretty owned but I don't want black though I could just wrap it later. The 2012 just called me back and offered 43500 for my trade and they are at 45500. So I'm really torn between those two however I really like the terrain color.
Thanks for all the responses! So is the 2012 the problem child of all years?

Just my thought, but for 3k you can get the 2014 over 2013. Gets you the last year made as well as bout 14k less miles. Good luck on choosing! Nice to have a choice in the limited market.

Take the '13 Terrian. Mileage won't be a big issue if it's maintained plus you already have some mods included in the price.

No. Each year has it's own little issues.
What was mentioned above is that in 2012 Ford started using the Torsen limited slip differential. Some have experienced 4 wheel drive failures (IWE) on 2012 models and later due to this.

I picked up a 12 screw, with 1k less miles on it for 43k.
And it didn't had the stock rims and bumpers(unless you like those).

Go with the Terrain.

So it's down to the two 2013s going to look at the black one tonight. The 12 was just beat to shit under neath and the shock mounts on the rear had a bunch of weird corrosion I've never seen before.
