Anyone take a long road trip with Raptor R yet? Planning on a road trip from NY to FL and wondering if I should take the R.

My TRX is my long road tripper. I say take your R. It’s going to be comfortable. Probably crappy fuel economy like the TRX, but a 700hp truck on long road trips is awesome.

Similarly, the Raptor is our road-trip vehicle. We leave the Lincoln at home since the boss says the truck is more comfortable. I couldn't believe it when she said it.

Every year the wife and I take a trip to San Juan Islands. Below is the fuel economy in the TRX and my old Raptor. We stayed a few days longer when we had the TRX which is why you see more miles.

I took my Raptor (before I sold it) on a 18hr road trip and can say it was the most comfortable vehicle I could have ever wanted for such a task, 3 adult passengers confirmed my thoughts btw.

Definitely take your R.

My wife has a Lincoln as well and she always wants to take the Raptor for long drives too
