LH Door Check

Hey Everyone,

So my drivers side door check is making the popping noise, I had my girlfriend take it into the dealership while I was at work in hopes that they would replace it under warranty. They quoted her $420 and said it wasn't under warranty, not sure why you would need to change out the hinges to fix a door check... So I'm just going to replace it myself, it's cheap anyways. However I'm not sure which part# it is. Fordparts.com only goes up to 2011 Raptor and says its #27204 but when I type in my VIN# number my truck comes up as a XLT and says it's part# 22886.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the dealership quote not include the part numbers they were going to use? Seems odd if it did not.

While you are at it, I would recommend getting the Door Detent 3.0's.

Other than that one, are you replacing the stationary ones?

What Rick said... I did the 3.0 detents and they took about 15 mins a side.
