I use blue water for all of my stuff. They are even tough enough to with stand the hell my can am commander goes through during hunting season. The led strips with a life time warranty are the only way to go.

Can you show how you mounted the lights under the vent and where you conneted power at?

looks great going to copy But since I have seen this I have been thinking about another idea. So at first I was thinking about getting some white ones and using them for a hood light, but then I thought what if I got amber and put them in the front of the hood to backlight the ford logo and they would still work as a hood light when I picked up the hood. Not sure if I can make this work but think I will try, I think red would look cool too but already have a amber theme going.

The strips come with 3M adhesive tape on the backside. There is a metal bar that runs across the vent which is perfect fit for the small space LED. I connected them to the Power for the grille LED marker lights so they come on with the marker lights. I have also ordered blue strip lights for the hood vents, 40" Blue Strips for under the running boards connecting to interior lights, and two 20" white strips for the bed. I will post full install pics when it is done this week.

P.S. there is no bounceback on hood vent LEDs. We tested it with an LED worklight and all you see is a little light coming through the vents but nothing directed back at the driver. The LED work light was also ten times brighter than the LEDs we will be putting in the vents.
