Front Axel Shaft Leak?

5BDFCEE6-ACE1-4DB0-B358-1A87212A79FA.jpeg this look normal? Look at the picture appears it’s enough grease leak to splatter off as it’s rotating. It’s the passenger side...

I know axle

Got mine replaced under warranty, just under a $300 dealer job out of warranty FYI. Anyone know why these go bad?

Well the replacement seal lasted a whole 3k miles….the picture is after I cleaned the area and drove it 15 miles. You can see the gear oil starting to run. Looking more closely at the seal, looks like the mechanic didn’t use the proper tool to seat it. The outer edge is bent. Trying a different dealer next week!

Mine was exhibiting similar, more “weeping” than leaking, I didn’t bother doing anything b/c it essentially stopped
