Stupid question but do you need to have the remote start to be able to run this system? Some of us have old 2010's
^Truthfully I do not know. Maybe, most likely. I'd just ask if I were you.
And yeah, I agree its just expensive no matter how you look at it. You can have a Viper 5901 w/ all the goodies installed for ~$900 last I checked. But... this is Ford OEM and just looks like it hits that niche of loyalists like me who are willing to shell out that extra buck, or K lol.
