Stupid question but do you need to have the remote start to be able to run this system? Some of us have old 2010's :stoner:

^Truthfully I do not know. Maybe, most likely. I'd just ask if I were you.

And yeah, I agree its just expensive no matter how you look at it. You can have a Viper 5901 w/ all the goodies installed for ~$900 last I checked. But... this is Ford OEM and just looks like it hits that niche of loyalists like me who are willing to shell out that extra buck, or K lol.

I am getting this installed in a couple weeks. My dealer quoted me $750 for the remote start system, security system and install.

Wow, Thats a good price. I've been looking into them and thats the cheapest price I've heard. Where you located?
