They probably have some chips in the paint and that is where the rust is coming from. Any light bar will do that. You just have to keep a close eye on it and toouch it up as needed.

I understand that but that's not the case here. You can see it coming thru the paint were there are no chips. Ill post some pictures to let you see. Not putting ford racing down but it's been happening to a lot of others also. I'm getting it powder coated soon.

Well I already have one set of PIAA 510XT SMR 4" (#5192). So if I bought the light bar and a set of the PIAA 510XT SMR fogs 4" (#5190) then it would be about $520. I think I will just go that route. Still alot cheaper than buying the 6-8" lights.

I found a great deal on the light bar and a decent deal on the 8" KC lights. I'm $525 into my setup and I love it.

Hook us up with some info Ice. I know for a fact that my 4" PIAA are bright as $#!+, but I def think the 6"-8" would look better on the truck.

No secret. I was patient and I hunted around for lightly used parts. I bought the light bar from Hockster and the KC lights/wiring from SVTCALI.

I would have to say get 6" or bigger with the lights. It looks way to small other wise.

Just watch the ford racing light bar because I have one and it's rusting thru in a few spots and it's not a year old yet. I have heard others with the same light bar are having the same problem. I don't know if it's where I'm from, due to the snow and salted roads but just be warned.

This is the problem mine is having. along with others i have seen on the "other" forum.
