I was recently up in Lake Tahoe. The elevation was 6333. When I would start my truck in the morning the engine was really struggling to idle. The exhaust sound was really irregular and the engine didn't sound normal. I'm sure this is due to the elevation. I don't have a tuner. Would a tuner help if there was a map for elevation?

I was camping and running around Memorial Day weekend at over 7,500' with no issues. Running lean for some reason, maybe? Is it running normal again at lower elevation?
