I know its a drive but if you want to get your Raptor on some sand check out Corova, NC. It is a 4x4 only beach access town of beach homes. You can book a home for a week or two or whatever, which may make the drive a little more worth it. My summer vacation is set this year but I am going there in fall to fish both the sound and the ocean. Welcome and have fun.
