I personally love the negative offset. It's been my experience with the Raptor that it doesn't chip the paint very much with the runningboards there. I have ran mine with a more negative offset for 72,000 miles and hasnt really messed up the paint. Lots of offroad miles too.
I never had rock issues on my truck and then after a hit and run stole one of my running boards the paint chipping got pretty bad. I'd say as long as you keep the running boards on you should be fine. Also would a +12 offset cause any rubbing with a true 35 12.50??? That's something to think about

Got them swapped today to the +12 offset.
Others were rubbing on hard over turning a bit.
Here she is. She's dirty....
Wash, sealant, and wax coming tomorrow.

My jeep had tires that stuck out around the same distance and hated it. Dirt and rocks slung all over the side of the truck and door handles. I'd swap for the correct offset.
