That appears to be the first ever off road worthy package available in a Chevy truck. However, it looks like they carried the interior over from a 1994 S10.

Sounds about right, my first truck was a 1996 S10, about the same interior.

Personally, I think the whole thing is hideous, inside and out. Inside is worse though. I'm really not a fan of small/midsize trucks these days.

They would sell the shit out of that thing in Straya. If Ford brings the new Ranger over with a diesel we might actually see a shift in the mid size truck category for the better. Now if only Toyota would bring the 70 Series to the US (won't happen I know).
