Blown PS pump & rack and piñon

Only have 2500 miles left on warranty but the ford dealer will not repair my power stering pump & rack and piñon do to that I have up graded the tie rods and the boots don't protect the rack. He has quoted 1800 to replace both I told him to hold off as there is other issues he is working with the truck. My question does anyone know if there is a better rack and piñon set up for the raptor than oem ?

Take it to a better dealer

I have stock tie rods and boots and have blown 2 power steering pumps. Both were replaced under warranty. If I were you I would call ford directly. It's not like they can prove those upgrades made your PS go out.

I'm pretty sure I remember Gordon saying he's gone through a couple racks and had no problems getting it covered under warranty with aftermarket tie rods. I'd try another dealer as previously mentioned.

My power steering went out last week and it was covered under my extended warranty
