Anyone Know Where or What This Is

Showing my father in law the truck and we were looking where the driver side front left wheel is and he notice this sitting near the upper control arm and he pulled it out and we couldn’t figure out where it went. Or it was left when it was being built. I got this truck back in May. If you know what it is please let me know. I’ll prob end up taking to dealership to get it looked at. Only has 1,500k miles might do a oil change while it’s their also
