The standard uses a push thru from the back style cap so hub rings won't work unless you lose the the cap.



So it's safe to run those wheels. I had them on my gen 1 without any issues. Went to a new tire place and they're saying I need hubcentric rings

You're fine without them. New shop is misinformed.

Ok great, I used to use discount tire but they ruined that one for me so I went to tire kingdom and that's what they told me which I wasn't too sure that's correct info
