The big FORD on the appliqué I thought was a bit loud at first, but I like this option best. The big F-150 stamping and blue oval is standard to all F-150’s, so I wanted it different, just as the Raptor is to the F-150 lineup. The plain tailgate is nice too. But doesn’t add the same styling as the appliqué does. Big Ford on the front and big Ford on the back!

Im glad they didn’t put badging all over this truck.

Anyone ever seen one with the applique added later with the F-150 stamper in ?
I wounder if it would be to busy or look really cool !!

There is a guy local to me that did that to his Magnetic Metallic. It actually didn’t look too bad. But that color grey hides the appliqué well. I am not a big fan of either ***** stamp: F150 or FORD. I don’t know why Ford didn’t keep the 15-17 tailgate, which doesn’t have either ***** stamp.

Found a 19' tailgate dealer takeoff for my 17' 801A...Much better than Ox White IMO

I prefer the applique. When I bought my truck, the one they had that had everything I wanted had the other tailgate. I went with it anyway, and swapped the blue logo for a painted black one. It looks good, but I still think I'd swap if it wasn't so expensive to get a new tailgate, or I could find someone with a magnetic truck to trade me tailgates.

I would trade you if I was closer to Minneapolis. I liked the appliqué when I ordered mine but that looks sharp.

I like mine without the giant plastic. Still don't like the "F-150" stamped on the tailgate, or even the Ford emblem really. Just the Raptor emblem is enough for me.

My thought is that the giant plastic applique looks like cheap crap, and the oversized "FORD" on it is absurd. Bad enough to have it on the front grill.

Ford is proud of the truck and wants that driving advertisement. They are both a little big. Funny how there are only 1 or 2 Raptor badges/decals on the truck at most. I’m not one big on over badging.

The applique gets dust behind it. When you wash it the muddy water runs out. Plus you need to keep drying it as water leaks from behind it as you try to keep it streak free.

I normally blow dry the truck initially to get water out. But that whole tailgate drips out for a while after.
