2018 vs 2020

Looking into getting a Raptor and currently looking at 2018 with 40k miles for $54k or 2020 with 68k miles for 53k. I know there are some differences between the years. Just curious which would you go for?

Both of those are high in my opinion.
2020 all day for me. Shocks and the cruise control, less if any problems with phasers in 2020.

Go for a 2020, we are never disapointed when we put more $ (when it's possible) , it's always better to choose a last year generation production, youth issues are fixed...Be sure the 20's is builte after 12/19 and you will be camphaser problem free !

Don’t forget the Raptor logo on them steering wheel and the updated engine cover lol. But the live valve shocks of the 2020 is a pretty big difference. Other things as mentioned above too. Wheels changed as well for the bead lock style. And lastly which truck just seems better cared for. Good luck

2020 is the only way to go! Hopefully you can get it down a little.

went from '18 to '20

Everything was better except my '18 had perfect body panel fit everywhere, '20 is off on some doors and hood, not a big deal but something i noticed.

Modes are better, trans is better, gauges in the dash are really nice, shocks feel like a good offroad upgrade, potentially upgraded phaser parts depending on when it was built, iwe fixes etc

IMO if you're going with the last generation of vehicle...Id always get the last year model (2020). Buying used can be a bit of a gamble, might as well worry about fewer issues from the factory.

I agree that both are expensive not by much but still there are hundreds of deals that are better.

Just do the diligence and then which ever you chose tell the dealer to include shipping to your door in the price... You can target $45k..
