I know this is an old post but I'm looking to do the same build on my '18. What's your opinion of the RPG set up? Any problems? Pros/ cons?

Call SVC. I have their setup and it’s great. Handles Baja no problems and SVCs customer service is amazing. The vast majority of the trucks on Baja runs I go on use SVC. It’s a very proven setup for a Gen2
