2012 Raptor Center console screen on 2010 Raptor?

I have a 2010 raptor without a center console screen. I just got a 2012 center console with the screen and all the hardware. Is it possible to do the swap?

I think you'll be ok. Might be a plug or two that won't hook together. Post back how it works for you.

If you do swap, is highly recommend going Sync 3.

@The Car Stereo Company has extensive knowledge on both Gen1 and car stereos.

I think you'll be okay, but there is that screen that the non-nav units have at the top that the nav units don't. Also, at some point after 2011 (don't remember what year) they removed two screws from the top tray that go in vertical. I only know because Lowrance mounts on my truck (2011) mount to the center speaker AND at the front and newer versions only mount at the center speaker. Not sure if it will make a difference for you.

I did try it today morning but the climate control socket is different between the two. Well that's a bummer

just saw this. and you are right, unfortunately you cant add a screen to the non nav trucks without very expensive rewiring of the truck. the best option is to go with an aftermarket screen.

Can't do a sync 3 swap on the 10 to 12 trucks. Only 13 and 14s can do it.
