After running into the issues with Phoenix Automotive delaying the 13" Android 10 unit I had ordered and cancelling the order due to getting a bit of the run-around, I decided to do some more digging around on things. Phoenix Automotive mentioned they were cancelling the Android 10 units and releasing an Android 12 unit, so I decided to check with manufacturer direct stuff on Aliexpress, which is most likely the same place Phoenix is getting their items. The newest unit out looks to be a 14.5" screen using Android 12 with 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and 8-core processor.
This is a huge upgrade over what I currently have, which is the 12.1" Android 9 unit using 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and 6-core processor. It's definitely an expensive setup, but I can say I have been extremely impressed with my PX6 unit and would love to upgrade. I generally don't like being the test mule on things, but I have a feeling with these being this new someone will just have to make a jump for it and try it out. With Phoenix telling me it would be a minimum of 2 months before they would even have the 13" Android 12 units, it doesn't really make sense to try and order from them again.
