I can't confirm it but my personal theory is the sunroof's rubber trim sticks/bonds together in the heat and when the motor tries to open it after a period of not use it breaks the track. I say this because when I got my truck I would open the roof and it would "pop" like the rubber was stuck...
How do the Rigid lights with the halos work? Are the halos always on, is it separately switched? If you get it in a kit with a harness how does everything work between the wiring harness and AUX switches?
I read up a good bit and dont seem to see a lot of recurrence. Seems more people complain that the dealer replaces the IWE hubs and that DOESN'T fix the issue. I just think to myself its a part that some low bid manufacturer cranks out for Ford in the hundreds of thousands a year so you may...
For me its the check valve. The part I gave you has hoses and all. Some just replace the check valve with a YG360, which while not the same does the job. Some even do two in a row. Regardless I ordered the part i listed, which may have been revised. The number underneath the part number was...
It’s the IWE. The little valve by the drivers firewall is bad. You can take it to the dealer and they will replace or you can order a new one for 10 bucks. Just replaced mine. There is a revised design. Google IWE valve and you will see threads on here and the F150 forums. Common issue...
I tow a 4500 lbs boat with no issues or modifications whatsoever. Not even a dip in the rear.
What were you towing yesterday? Was the trailer balanced meaning all the weight spread out not just on the tongue?
I have an S2000 and when it was new they treated you like you had a Civic not the most expensive Honda they made at the time. Unfortunately only the luxury brands dictate their dealerships have to do X Y and Z for clients. The Ford dealers that provide niceties are usually doing it because...
Dude. You don’t need brakes on a trailer that light. Legally depends on the state but most have a 3500lb trailer weight for brakes. It’s just added cost and complication.
Don’t know. My guess is 400-500. I have a spare, two anchors, etc up front. That is also why you don’t need a weight distributing hitch for boats and can usually tow a lot more boat.
Regardless I see an awful lot of people on here and other places with car or toy trailers who overload the...
Anyone notice some missing channel logos?
When they changed Backspin to Rock the Bells there isn’t a logo. (Channel 43)
I also recently lost the logo for PopRocks. (Channel 17)
Did a reset and a master reset no luck. Pulled the fuse still no luck. Refreshed the service numerous times and...
Boat trailers are a little different animal than a car or equipment trailer. Most of the boat weight is over the axles and the tongue weight isn’t as much. Get the right drop and you should be fine. I haven’t towed my 19 ft center console yet but I’m sure it will be better than my old 2014...
Got waze working on my 18.
I re upgraded to Sync 3.0. Then updated mobile apps and the next morning it showed up.
I didn’t really follow any steps just tried a bunch of stuff. I almost think it was a bad or incomplete 3.0 install because for the first time owner.ford.com shows I’m...
I cant get Waze to work. I’m on 18025. From the normal F150 forum it seems like mostly people with non 2018 trucks are getting it to work.
I’ve tried a real apple cable many plus and unplugs and nothing. I also re upgraded to Sync 3 3.0 again and nothing.
FWIW the Mobil Speedpass app...
