I did the calibration, I can’t get the door to move at all with the actuator out. I can feel the actuator trying to move when the temperature is changed but it seems like something is stuck
So I replaced the driver side temperature blend door actuator today. Was a giant pain in the ass but I knew that. After I got everything back
together and pulled fuse 46 for the reset I tried it..still no control over the driver heat. All the functions work just fine.
I pulled the actuator back...
ill have to look into it, I have 130k on the truck so im not sure having the stock cats welded back in is a great idea, ill either get some low mileage OEM ones or the kooks. just need them for the tuning portion of the job so we shall see. Ill keep this updated with info as I get it
I get all my parts from them, never even thought to bring the truck there for tuning. is there a performance center at the dealer? Im going to install the headers myself im just very worried that it will all be for nothing if I cant get the CEL off.
ive heard 02 extenders are hit or miss, did...
did you ever find a shop to do this? Im in RI and I have s et of headers waiting to go in. Ill probably do the work myself but im interested to see how the truck is with inspections.
did your headers throw any codes?
if so what did/are you going to do to cure that?
i really shouldn't, but I kinda want to. are these the same lights that have the stupid white light around the projector?
also any pics of the black lights on a molten orange truck?
I plumbed the aftermarket cooler in line after the OEM cooler, it seems thats what most people do. been running it like that for a year or so and no issues
I did the fuse pump mod and used the old fuse 27 location to give power to my fog light relay which I control with a factory headlight switch, about as OEM as I could get it. I also searched for a while for the right terminals and came up empty. I like using the fuse box as power supply.
I...
has anyone on here installed the miller off road designs third brake light with the baja designs S2. Im going to be getting around to it when I have a few min, I can't find a wiring diagram for what wires do what in the OEM truck side harness.
so if anybody has done it or has a wiring diagram...
Ill probably have my month old factory light for sale shortly, I ordered a fancy new one. I have my old non working factory one too and one day I'm going to figure out replacing the led and fixing it.
Definitely on my list. Just can't decide if I want cf or just flat black. I also HATE the texture or design of whatever of the main console pieces so I'm trying to decide what to do with those as well. They remind me of old brass screens in a church or something
did the OEM headlight switch for fog lights, fuse 27 relocation, some more amsoil on the undercarriage.
waiting patiently for my PDD mud flaps, miller off-road designs D2 third brake light, and the JLT oil separator. then it can finally come off the jack stands and be driven on nice days
awesome theres some good info in that thread, Im going to be tackling the install tomorrow. going to attempt to use the factory fuse box for a cleaner OEM look. I will update with pictures if i get it to work.
update. the pins in the connector are NOT d sub pins. i have no idea how you guys got them to work, I couldnt even get them into the connector. I removed the pins from my work truck which has wires for food but no fogs installed.
anybody around Austin able to go pick up a set of headlights for me, ill cover shipping and give you some $$ for your troubles. if anybody is available please let me know, ill send you the details in a pm.
I just had a brainstorm. my wiring skills are up to par but my electrical design isn't that great.
I am one of the few who hasn't had an issue with fuse 27 melting yet, I did order the replacement kit and am going to install it soon, would it be possible to use the existing fuse 27 and the...
bringing this back up from the dead, but getting ready to do my cooler install. did you guys go in line with the oem cooler or bypass it completely? couldnt find a straight answer in the thread
that makes life easy. I absolutely hate using rtv for the gaskets. lube lockers are re useable and you don't have to wait for the rtv to dry to fill the thing.
does anybody know if there are lube locker or similar style gaskets available for the front and rear diff covers? going to be changing my fluid soon and can't for the life of me figure out what type of front diff this thing has
bringing this back up, has anybody tried out a heat sink style cooler for the power steering? I was planning on using a 12" 2 pass cooler
something like this
