I see the same 3 in the Farmington Hills area of Oakland County. I always wave or toss a quick flash of the lights, but they don't respond. Guessing they didn't get the memo.
Low miles is great for the car, but bad for the owner. You miss all the fun. this is my 97 Mustang GT Convertible that had about 14k on it until just a couple of years ago. A ton of customs work, and it spent most of its time under a cover and getting rubbed on with a diaper. I only took it...
Really great guys at Rappy. Quality products if you can do it yourself. If you're in Michigan or catch them at an even they can do some super tricked out stuff in person. Had my hood done a week ago by them and been stopped twice in parking lots by admirers already.
There use to be guys that were "flippers" with their exec cars. You could tell em what you wanted, they would get it as an executive car and drive it for 6 months and then sell it to you. I got a super loaded Explorer back in 2002 that way.
I think as execs they had to monitor and evaluate...
Thats what a buddy who works at Ford says. He has wanted a SVT Mustang for years, but says he can't seem to pull the trigger because the price dif over a regular one. So he has bought 3 mustang GTs since he has been there, no SVTs.
If you could, i suspect Ford employees would make a cottage...
Don't know if you pulled the trigger or not, but here is my 2 cents. I got my 12 SCREW Raptor little over a month ago, but i have owed a 04 Lariat SCAB since it came off the line. I put every one of 180k miles on it. (BTW, i still have it for work) I always though the crew's aspect was a...
They just did mine Friday. I knew i would mess it up myself because i have zero patience. The guys at Rappy are great! and their work is stellar. I did a few pics while it was underway, but i didn't get a chance to do any complete ones today in the sunlight
I'm a new Raptor owner with and SCREW, but i still have my 2004 SCAB lariat with 180k miles and i put every one on it myself. I can't speak for hard off roading, but if you got to live with it every day as a daily driver, the crew wins.
Hewitt, The ride is good, its a comfortable truck. its wide, but not too wide that its much of a head ache. I'm kind of use to it because i had a H2 and i drove 150 Lariat before i got my Raptor.
Parking can be a bit of a pain at the mall, but thats more because my wife wants to park...
I have a Coleman Sportsman 20. It their small version of a rotomolded high end cooler. Great deal at 100 bucks from Sam's club website too. I'm a Boy Scouts Assistant Scout Master, so i camp once a month, and i swear by this cooler. I fill it and put it in my tent, and I come home with...
Seems close to fair. I picked up my 12 SCREW with less miles for about that a month ago.
I'm in Detroit, and we have a lot of Ford exec and A-plan cars bought on a discount that hit the secondary market and keep the prices a little low. I'm told they don't discount SVT vehicles, so they...
I've had my truck about a month, and the second week I drove across country on vacation for 2 weeks. From Michigan to Orlando, I came across 3 Raptors on the highway. A road testing Gen 2 going from Detroit to Toledo, one in Kentucky, and one near Georgia/Florida border. I was amused that the...
Or better question, what are the ride signs that they need replacing? There are 50k miles on my 2012 Raptor, only about 4k are mine, so i don't know what it rode like new, or what its even suppose to feel like. The Fox shocks have some ugly pitting and i'm vain, so I was thinking about yanking...
