This shit continues to F'ing plague me. Since the dealership fix I went for about 3 months with nothing, then I have just randomly got the fault after driving around 30 miles or so 4 times. Unlike before, it resets after being parked/turned off (before it may stay on for an hour or so)
Sorry I meant we need the BEAD for the fix, not the dealer. I tried the RFID blocking material and it didn’t work. My sensors went off like clockwork at 20 miles. Zero issues since installing the bead
Go into settings on your touchscreen and go to features. Turn it off for a minute and it will clear within a minute.
But you NEED to go to the dealer for the fix - I listed the TSB somewhere in this thread.
Thank you !!!!!! there’s a previous thread where RFID blocking fabric was used, but that didn’t work for me. This shit started the day I brought my ‘23 home on December 29th. I got the ferrite bead a few days ago - not wanting to go back to the dealer for the 5th time, your pics and directions...
They did all that shit to mine. DON’T let them, as it won’t fix anything. Wait till the TSB part comes in. I was hoping the fabric worked (I used it all) - it did for 1 day, but the issue returned afterwards.
Thank you for this!!! I tried this and it didn’t work, doubling up on the fabric…. butttt I didn’t cover the harness as well as you did. I think that’s the key - Becuase I went beyond the typical 20 miles before it kicked on. I’ll add more fabric and hopefully it’ll work.
Duuuuuuude!!! Thank you - I just ordered the RF shielding. Absolutely ridiculous little shit like this happens. I’ll do the wrap as soon as I get it and test it. Appreciate it !!
Driving this weekend until the message popped on and lost readings on a few sensors. Turned off my ProPower and everything went back to normal in less than a minute.
How long is it going to take for Ford to fix this shit??? I don’t feel like having to turn shit off every single trip - you would think this wouldn’t be a big or complicated fix right ???
Big thanks for @enjoitheride for helping us !!!
You were right. Replacing the RTM did nothing -but disconnecting the ProPower did. THAT is causing the interference, and of course the problem is the fuse pulled for it also disconnects the cameras and a few other things. Ford is supposedly working on a fix….so we wait….. but how is this just...
No - the fault didn’t follow the sensor to the other side. It stayed on the driver side even when the sensors were switched and programmed to the passenger side. We will see if now replacing the RTM fixes it ….
I’ve had the same issues since day 1. After about 20 miles, driver side sensors stop reading and display dashes. Then the passenger side. Pressure keeps fluctuating. My BCM was replaced - but the problem came back. Sensors were switched to the opposite side, but the passenger side faulted again...
Does anyone have VinView access they could help out with ? ‘23 built 11/05 and “shipped” 12/05 - FP said that’s the last update they have (at the ramp at New Boston), although they said the truck should arrive at my dealer anytime from today to the 14th. TIA
Finally!! Moved from “in production” early since 10/24 (originally scheduled 10/31 and was actually built on 11/04) to now BUILT. Doubt it will be here between projected date of Dec 19-25….. but at least it’s out of hold!
