Thanks bud. Unfortunately that's all Gen 2 and basically what I did to my Gen 2 with an up fitter. The Gen 3's are different though. they don't use that stand alone controller but instead go straight to the door modules.
Ok I’ll look into that. I definitely don’t think it will be as easy as just adding a relay like the Gen 2. It seems like all the switch does is tell the door module computers you want to turn on the lights. It is possible one of the wires at the switch could do this by wiring to an upfitter of...
Was it a post on this forum? I've searched all over and can't find anyone talking about it. I had my Gen2's wired to an up fitter and would be fine with that, however since its ran through the PDM/DDM I'm hesitant to send 12v down the line and risk frying one of the modules.
Unlike the Gen2's, the mirror spot lights now seem to be controlled by the DDM/PDM and can be turned on/off in the Forscan "easy" writer. There isn't an option to disable the "off at 6mph" but I would assume it is in the "as built" writer. How does one go about finding what coding means what...
Seems to be most likely caused by the shock height position sensors. Once the shocks are "out of scope" of where they should be on normal ride height they kick out the drive modes. The position sensors on the front are exposed and has a little arm with a ballhead that can pop off. Also the...
Yep. if OP has access to Forscan you can run/read the active shock height to see if one is way out of spec and even bounce the truck while reading to make sure all height sensors are operational.
I had tools and such in the bed along with the shocks being off anyway, put them out of scope of calibration. When I tried to calibrate them is when it locked me out of the drive control modes. I took all the crap out of the bed and it let me recal the shocks which cleared the drive control...
I'm currently having this Cluster F issue. went to cal my shocks and they were -16,-46, -13, -44. Couldn't get them to recal and now I have the drive control lockout.
On my Gen 2 I was able to tap into the mirror light switch assembly under the dash to turn both mirror lights on with an Upfitter. Anyone able to confirm if this is available on the G3's?
On my Gen1 and 2 I ran a relay at the back to light up the bumper lights with the reverse. Run your hot up to the up-fitter for all the time on, but then grab a hot in the back and connect the reverse lights to the switch side of a relay. This will turn em all on in reverse but not effect your...
I just ordered all the components for a DIY power tank equivalent. I have a total of 260 bucks in it. I think with CO2's performance and the reasonable set up costs, a DIY tank and single stage backup would be the bee's knee's.
Vision Nemsis
With a big help from Scott at Custom Wheels for you, I settled on the Vision Nemesis 20x9. The ring is removable, and actually comes unbolted so expect to set some time aside attaching them. They are also a thick and very rigid plastic where I was assuming they were aluminum...
Yes the quote was for the custom set with a removable ring. So you are saying Rotoform will just paint the ring on the wheel? Technically I guess I could do that by taping off the fake ring. Just doesn't seem like a good idea to be rednecking it up on a $75k truck though.
Don't think I'm a city guy that never see's dirt. I am also an off roader although my work doesn't allow me to enjoy it like I used to be able to. I have built a jeep, an early bronco, and even a full on tube buggy in my shade tree shop all with the purpose of crawling. I don't get out west...
I would agree with that also. I don't see my schedule allowing it, but if I we're able to make it out west I'd definitely throw my stocks back on. I gotta say though, the dude was hitting it pretty damn hard especially the high speed turns.

Nice... Thanks for stepping forward.
Thanks for the input.
Thanks for the input. Do you recall what broke the wheel?
Thanks for the input..... what 20" wheel were you running that broke?... sounds like they did pretty good considering the situation.
All great points. Thanks for the...
