Hmm the way you explain it makes sense but i agree with you, after market companies should've picked it up especially when Ford didnt!!
I might have torn something out and sand accumulated in the gears or something.. At this point i really cant be sure what happened. All i know is there was no...
The fact that it gets replaced under warranty is good but it is a bit of a concern that it keeps coming back!! What happens when the warranty runs out? Or Ford decides you've had too many replacements?
I just find it very strange that a $75,000 car (yes, this is how much they are here in Dubai)...
No upgrades and no visual damage. Its a brand new truck with 4,000 kms on the clock!!!!
Its not the pump because it was actually fighting back. When they were parking it on the ramp at the dealership i saw the tire vibrating to the left n right very obviously :s
Very strange
I was off-roading the other day and i got stuck in sand. The guys i was with helped pull me out. Once i was out the steering was off center and had excessive play (not sure why!!) and i also had hill decent control fault and service advance trac on the dash. Turning left or right was not smooth...
This is still a mystery to me, My dealer and Ford so i am wondering if anyone has more mechanical, electronic or technical knowledge and can help me understand why my steering rack had a problem and needs replacement.
My dealer hasn't seen this case with a Raptor and Ford told them today that...

Haha true, they actually did that.. They connected their wires and switch in the Aux 1 and its just used to on / off as the main power runs to the battery direct with the dual fuses, the rest goes from the compressor to the glove box using their wires and the switch then thats connected to Aux 1...
The used a bigger wire that they ran straight to the battery and had these dual fuses connected to it. This isn't related to the aux wires not having power when testing them regardless of what you are planning to connect to them. Right?
Grounding has been done and yes the switches were on but no power in the cable

It's working fine on switch 1..that's where we ended up wiring it but curious why the others had no power
Yes it is available. but again, i did not need them because my installation was in the car not in the engine bay!! I didnt need to use the pass through cables :)

Maybe, but i was there and asked him many times which one he is testing and explained the difference and he confirmed he was looking at purple / green (Aux 3)

The wire I'm trying to use is behind the glove box. I did not need a pass through wire because my compressor is inside the car. He tested all the wires of the Aux switches and the only one that had power in it was the Aux 1 wire
