Street Race result; X5 vs Raptor

my duddy's - 2011 BMW X5 sport, bone stock

mine - 2011 super crew, AFE stage 2 intake, Stainlesswork lightning style exhaust, 90 permance tune from 5 star, 35" nitto trail tire with 18" fuel rim, and mid perch (probably perch mod doesn't matter).

0 - 40mph

1st run - mine in 2WD, X5 was just lil faster, i burned tire just lil when i started.

2st run (slightly uphill) - mine in 4WD, i killed my buddy.

i always thought 2WD is faster than 4WD but i guess i was wrong?

any idea?

I'm guessing this wasn't a X5 turbo, or diesel?

Lock your rear diff.

Nice! Someone posted up some drag times recently. They were able to achieve a slightly faster time in 2wd compared to 4wd. Multiple runs were made. In a 0-40 the 4wd would probably be best.

in 2wd your traction control will cut your speed down at launch.
in 4wd you should turn off t/c for max speed.

What were the off-road results ? Or are these drag queen' s ?

smoked a diesel ford yesterday
smoked a lifted f150 on 37's today WITH a Freak'n TEMP tag

unless engine decals start going on the front I can't guess what engine people are running. We never see the rear

i was just having lil fun with friend. i believe X5 is 3.0 with twin turbo.

also, i do take my truck to offroad,,,why the heck i got 18s rims instead of 20s
