The bumper on the shock can’t really be in the wrong place. It’s either on the shock or not. The bumper also has zero impact on how shock internals function.

I’m not even sure they understand what a bumpstop is. Has nothing to do with the shock at all.
I’m beginning to think the dealerships don’t have mechanics that can beat or come out even with the warranty book time so they never want to replace the fronts at all. The rears are much easier so they go for the low hanging fruit.
If you can hear and feel noise coming from the front end, it’s most likely in the front end.

I have loud clunk when jumping on rear bumper. 35 package 2022.
also hearing it more when driving over smaller bumps.

in your opinion was there a defective date range for fox shocks? If yes can you please provide? This may help my case.
Anybody here have Ford try and tell you warranty is void because of a pertch collar?

Somewhere in this thread is the date range of the shocks. Something like MY22 build date February thru June. You are gonna have to search for it a little bit.
