I got my 2019 SCREW used with 5k on the odometer. Previous owner modified the truck with FORSCAN adding Lincoln style mirrors. We just had our first significant snowfall this past week and mirrors were frozen closed. So I want to remove the Lincoln style mirror option. Do I simply click the "restore" button next to each field that was changed and then write all 4 changed fields?

Thanks

I don't think that will necessarily work. You need to have the original file for the module(s) in question. You are supposed to back them up before making changes for this reason. If you are in contact with the previous owner, maybe he still has them. If not, it was kind of ****** of the previous owner not to undo his changes prior to selling. I don't know if the modules are identical for all 2019s. If so, you might be able to get the original As Built files from someone else with a 2019. I have a June 2019 build SCREW, and would be happy to send you my backed up files, but I don't know if they will work for you.

I also have a 2019 and have the original files saved. If you need get in touch with me. Did you buy it through a dealer or directly from the original owner? Either way it was not good of the original owner to do that you.

Change both door module values for those entries back to “0” where there are now “F” or “84”. (DDM and PDM)

Or use these abts from my original backups. rename these as .abt files to use them.

That is what I was thinking. I saw a video in the main Forscan thread on here. Here is the page where the video is located. It appears that the values were zeros before it was modified.

I believe with your VIN you can get them here. I backed up everything before using Forscan, so I have no personal experience; but I believe this is how you can correct your issue.

Read everything before you start. Familiarize yourself with the process. Backup your current settings before you start making changes.

I ran across the same issue with my Gen 1. Thanks for the info!
