Hello all. Wondering if anyone has found a higher speed rated 35” tire???
I recently installed a Whipple on my Gen 1 and since then, while in Mexico I get over 100mph.... often... quickly..... and it’s a little unnerving knowing the tires are only rated to that as a max.. if anyone has info please let it be known.

Research how speed tire ratings are done. Its at that speed over time in 10mph increments for nearly 8 hours. How long are you running 100+ mph at a time in a Raptor on dirt?

Usually its brief due to the terrain

I was looking at this issue too and the highest speed rated tire I found was the Nitto Dune Grappler which has a T rating (122 mph), but only in the stock size 315-70R17. As soon as you go up to 35” the speed rating drops.

Gee...must be something about those GEN1 Whipples...I have the same problem..every time I look down the damn speedometer is over 100...I try my best to keep it at 90,but 100 is more fun..LMAO...BTW,I'm running the stock tires...1st owner who I bought my Raptor from had just put its first new set on (52K) before I bought it....so will be running with these until new set is needed.

The Whipple setup will run in the neighborhood of $9,000 for parts, then you have the install to do. If it’s being done at a reputable shop, I’d figure on at least $13-$15 thousand out the door.

What's the cost of a supercharger on a Gen1
