In the past, to solve this, I’d reset the pcm learning algorithm every month or two (disconnecting the battery). In its unlearned configuration it works smoothly. After 1-2 months the issue would start to creep back up and I’d do it again. Rinse and repeat. The TSB ( which I had done) I thought permanently had fixed it as I haven’t had the problem at all for about five or six months.
Here it is again though. It might seem minor in the video but believe me it is VIOLENT inside the cab. *Something* is going to break, eventually. Possibly my neck.
I’ve had two trips to Ford over this and both times they’ve simply reset the pcm and sent me on my way. That is their “fix.”
