See the video illustrating a rough shift into Drive:

In the past, to solve this, I’d reset the pcm learning algorithm every month or two (disconnecting the battery). In its unlearned configuration it works smoothly. After 1-2 months the issue would start to creep back up and I’d do it again. Rinse and repeat. The TSB ( which I had done) I thought permanently had fixed it as I haven’t had the problem at all for about five or six months.

Here it is again though. It might seem minor in the video but believe me it is VIOLENT inside the cab. *Something* is going to break, eventually. Possibly my neck.

I’ve had two trips to Ford over this and both times they’ve simply reset the pcm and sent me on my way. That is their “fix.”

Edit: here is another video

Anyone else have this return? 2017 raptor scab

I had it return after replacing a batter on my 2017 screw. Haven’t had time to get it back to ford yet.

After the tsb it was awesome, but short lived due to a dead battery.

Not sure how but I had a similar issue with my lariat. Might just have a sticky spot in it. They did The same to me, reflash and was good for 700 miles, reflash and then returned after another 1000 miles. Finally changed out the valve body and it did not return. Not sure of the why though sorry.
