Baja Designs - NEW Laser Lighting! Ultimate Long Range Lighting

Thanks for taking the time to read up on my initial reviews. I’ll be posting my drone pics this weekend. Are you guys planning on upgrading this light bar any time soon? I noticed that I got a nice note with mine offering to upgrade the circuit board. I was just curious what might be coming in...

Baja Designs - NEW Laser Lighting! Ultimate Long Range Lighting

My damn upfitter switches are already maxed out, or I would consider doing some LP9’s or XL80’s on A pillars. There are actually only 2 laser chips. And 4 LEDs. It’s still the same beam pattern as the regular onx6 high power except the laser chips are probably their super spot optics as opposed...

    GEN 2 Lighting Recommendations/Waiting on 19

If you haven’t quite figured out what you want yet I could always sell you my onx6 high power lower grill light bar setup. I just replaced it with the laser light bar. PM me if you are interested. Haha

Baja Designs - NEW Laser Lighting! Ultimate Long Range Lighting

It’s raining pretty bad tonight. Didn’t get a chance to take the drone out. I did take my new lights around the block a little bit....the lasers project super far. The overall light output isn’t as good as the onx6 high power. I’m suspecting that is because they used the LEDs from the lower...

Baja Designs - NEW Laser Lighting! Ultimate Long Range Lighting

My initial reactions are....mixed. I had the onx6 high power mounted in the lower grill. It was a combo pattern I’m pretty sure. The new laser light bar is a combo pattern as well, but it seems like the LEDs that are in the laser bar are not as powerful as the LEDs in the high power bar. So it...

Baja Designs - NEW Laser Lighting! Ultimate Long Range Lighting

I got mine mounted up this morning...# 12 of 30. I’m going to take it up to the mountains tonight and do some overhead drone footage. I’ll be able to do a distance comparison between the laser bar, the 30”s8 and the squadron pros I have....working on mounting the S2 pros with a work/scene...

    GEN 2 Lighting Recommendations/Waiting on 19

I have the Baja designs pretty much all around my truck. I went with the ford raptor lights kit for my fog light pockets. The 10”onx6 high power lower grill setup. The 30”s8 behind the grill and some rigid industries flush mount ignites on the rear for backup lights. The guys over at ford raptor...

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

Not yet. I get my truck in April. I’ll make sure to post up the pictures when I install them. I’m going to do some drone footage of all the lights I am installing so people can get a good idea of brightness and cast distance.

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

Very clean setup. I ordered a set of rigid flush mount diffused. I’m pretty sure the only difference between those and the regular option is the addition of the flush mount plate. I think I like the look of your setup the best, and I will try to do the same thing. I might get the S2’s a little...

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

that is a really clean setup. you mounted them just above the tow hooks? I'm assuming from the picture you did not buy a flush mount kit. I was looking for the diffused pattern with those. any comment on the light output? would it be good enough to light up a camping area behind the truck?

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

If there was a good spot to flush mount the squadrons I would do that. Haha. I’m looking for a mostly stock look. Under bumper squadrons would look weird IMO. I might be running low on options. Maybe I will just get the S2’s, and finally quit trolling through this forum. Lol ---------- Post...

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

I’d love to see that squadron pro setup. I thought about mounting a set of squadron pros under the bumper, but I’m not sure I would like the look. My ideal setup would be s2 pros with a diffused or flood pattern flush mounted into the bumper, but I have not seen that setup from anyone in the...

Back up lights. BD s2 vs Rigid ignite

So, I’ve been debating on which backup light set to get. I know both kits would work great for providing rear visibility. I am really looking for a diffused pattern to have scene lighting for camping. If I get the S2’s I would only run them on the uplifted switch because I don’t need to blind...

    2018 Raptors under sticker

I was able to lock in a sale with MAS back in June for a 2018 SCREW with 802, sunroof, heated rear seats, bead locks, spray in bed liner, and a few other goodies. I got about $1250 below invoice. I don’t pick it up until April when I finally leave Korea. The best part is, I get any rebates that...

    light package suggestions

Not sure I want to go cutting into my bumper unless I mount something flush. The rigid industries ignites look like they might make a great flush mount option. I’ll wait until after I get my truck to buy any more lights, but I will keep my eye out. I’m hoping maybe BD releases their backup light...
