Sounds like you've been lucky, kudos. I see them almost on a daily basis with customer's cars, I also live in a large city with terrible roads which may play a factor in that.

I had an exhaust heat shield rattle at times and when turning up into my drive. Heard it the first 2 miles from picking it up. Bent the heat shield on the drivers side and never heard it again.

Curious if those who have VCT or engine failure have the start/stop feature on?

Only seen those issues due to non warranty concerns. People spilling drinks and the tracks become sticky or people putting too much stuff in that compartment and jamming it. Haven't seen a real warranty concern yet.

I'd have to get rid of mine for a V8 option. That being said, I'm worried about the bottom falling out of our value in trade in if that happens.
